Cup is well and truly full! A whirl wind 24 hours in Sydney for our Proud Poppy pop up to celebrate fashion week 💃🏼💃🏼 The one thing that gets me every time is how many of you come up to me and thank me for doing what I do and creating a truly inclusive fashion brand like Proud Poppy. There’s always tears, hugs, beautiful stories about how our pieces make you feel incredible and alive. It honestly makes me so emotional to listen to the difference that my brand has made on so many of your lives. But as you say thank you to me, I want to say sorry to you. I’m sorry that the industry is doing such a rubbish job of catering and representing so many of you that you feel the need to thank me. It really shouldn’t be such a big deal. I love that we make you feel confident and beautiful - but I’m also sad that this isn’t just the bare minimum standard for you. For us. You deserve better. I’ve got a new energy this year to continue what I started and keep pushing to positively impact the lives of women and those around them on a global scale and empower you all to live your best lives unapologetically as the truest versions of yourselves. Thank you to everyone who came, shared, laughed, hugged and cried. The impact you have had on me has reignited my “why”. I promise I will keep showing up for us even on the hard days. This brand is bigger than me. It really is a global village. And we are making a huge difference for the future and all the little girls out there who will grow up to be us one day.
