You went to the grave for the people who were digging their own. You walked out of the grave to pull us out of ours. You’re grave could not hold you, so neither can mine. You didn’t only defeat your grave You defeated mine You turned my crisis into my celebration You took my condemnation And gave me resurrection I dug so deep that I hit rock bottom But that’s when I found the Rock The failures of my past No longer have to be the pattern of my future.
