“That has a comedogenic ingredient. Don’t put that on your skin.” 😳 The word comedogenic can definitely give you pause if you hear it in the same sentence as “skin.” (It’s been engrained into us skin-care lovers, right?) But at Primally Pure, we take a slightly different stance on comedogenicity and skincare. 👇🏼 Recently, there’s been some concern over certain ingredients (including those in some of our formulations) that contain the *potential* to clog pores. Some of the most foundational ingredients in our formulas are ingredients that could *technically* be labeled as “comedogenic.” But without these ingredients, our products wouldn’t harness the same powers for your skin. To us, comedogenicity is much more about looking at the formulation as a whole rather than singling out ingredients and overlooking their potential within a safe formula. We get into this thought-provoking conversation on the Pure Life blog to keep our promise of full transparency, context, and education. Head to the link in bio to learn more 🤍
