One of the skills I really wanted to touch up at Camp was my ring muscle ups. I had attempted the uprise method several times in my competitive CrossFit years, but it never really clicked. After 20 minutes and one gymnastics-specific cue from @vanvleetd, I could finally feel a difference in my rise and transition (the “ooooh” says it all 🤩) For most muscle up beginners, the ring row method is much more attainable and sustainable. This is the method that I teach my athletes and will use myself in longer workouts, but it was so fun to finally learn this technique! Still working on “catching high,“ but stay tuned for when I nail it! #RoadToBetter #ComebackKid #GirlsWhoLift #IAMNOBULL
