I’ll probably do an iron cross and a 11 minute handstand by tomorrow? * Who knew the @assaultfitness was good for so many things! * Dave Durante is the freaking man. @powermonkeycamp was my first time ever meeting him and I was blown away. His dedication to coaching, his craft (gymnastics), and the fact that he is still chasing PRs. He CARES deeply about coaching and it showed throughout the weekend. * He took time with me on handstands, bar work, and answered my 420 questions. * My hope is to come back to camp one day and impress him with new gymnastics skills. * If you’re some one who doesn’t care about movement, learning, or growing as an athlete/coach - don’t go to camp. If that doesn’t sound like you - their next camp is Sep 21-27 * Camp consists of: - morning stretches/rucking/paddle boarding - breakfast, lunch, dinner (all prepared for you) - multiple training/skill sessions a day - fun activities - lectures - recovery options - so many interesting people * Well worth the investment and any CrossFit L3’s out there - you also get 32 CEU’s and the completion of camp. 👀
