We are experiencing the full bloom of Plum (Ume) Blossom Season here in Kyoto. Although often overshadowed by the famed cherry blossoms, plum blossoms emerge across Japan from mid-February to mid-March, with their highly fragrant flowers and rounded petals. Jonan-gu Shrine is one of the many exquisite spots across Kyoto to witness the peak of Plum Blossom Season. Immerse yourself in a sea of pink when you visit the precinct.
