A project with vision. The Joinery Stool, our collaboration with Norm Architects (@normarchitects), showcases design-enhancing methods of sustainability. Adherent to the Japanese no-nails joinery method, the stool’s precise and interlocking joints foster structural strength and aesthetic simplicity. Our Joinery stool is made from sustainably forested wood, sourced from the local Keihoku woodlands. The story of the stool’s timber revealed through its clean, visible rings. This project is part of a wider ecosystem of preservation of which we remain proud members. Through engagement with talented artisans, this stool marries design, environmental sustainability, and cultural preservation.
