Working on a print that has been on my bucket list of projects for a long while! I have wanted to create a black light print ever since I learned how to screenprint and what better time than when Spring is in full bloom? Shown here are the first few neon colors being mixed and printed by hand. As you know, this is a huge departure from my usual color palette, so it felt exhilarating to use such a vivid array of neon hues. I’ve always been drawn to vintage 70s neon posters with their electrifying colors popping bright against the velvety black texture. It has been a dream bringing that psychedelic acid aesthetic into my artwork.
