🌞 Merry Beltane! 🌞 I hope you all had a mischievous Witches’ Night last night as well, and get to bask in the fiery splendor of the sun today! May the fires purify and protect you, may the earth bring you fertility of mind and spirit. 🔥🐂🔥 As you know, this is one of my favorite days of the year! The magic in the air is palpable and we begin to blossom from the seeds that we’ve sown throughout the dark months. A few easy Beltane traditions I practice on this day are jumping the fire, making a wildflower bouquet or crown, wetting my face with the morning dew (when I can wake up early enough), walking through patches of ground Ivy, finding and connecting to a hawthorn tree, and lastly, leaving offerings for the fae and traveling spirits (usually honey and thyme).
