First glimpse of the completed blacklight print, Starspell! It has taken me years to complete this project but the final result makes it all worthwhile. This is my first attempt at a blacklight print and I couldn’t be more proud of how it turned out. I knew from the start that if I was going to create a blacklight print, I would have to go the distance and make it flocked! I experimented with flocking when I was in college so it was fun to revisit that technique all these years later. The neon colors next to the velvety black flocking makes the print “pop” even more! I drew Starspell with the intent of it becoming a blacklight poster one day and here it is! I’d love to know your thoughts!
