Did you move today?! Make it a date ๐Ÿ˜! Make it Fun ๐ŸŽ‰! Keep Movin' ๐Ÿšดโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธโ—๏ธ Move throughout your day not just one time a day. Add movement throughout your day. How ?: Start your day with yoga or stretches Take jump rope breaks throughout your day Go for short walks or hikes Turn on music and dance between meetings or chores and especially after meals. It will help with gas and digestion. Keep a mat somewhere in your house where you can go do stretches, or exercise Take a bike ride Ask a friend to walk and chat Walk or bike to the store, don't drive (if you can) My personal favorite is ringing the doorbell and asking hubby to come out and jump rope with me! Do not just move once a day or go do exercise just once a day make it about moving all throughout your day! This was one of my takeaways from the @goplantstrong Sedona Mago retreat. We had so many choices to start our day moving. We had dance breaks, hikes, yoga, breath work, and afternoon movement activities. You name it, we kept moving throughout our retreat days! One of our Medical Expert Speakers @drdawnmussallem is permanently in my head. Her words telling us to push harder and lift more weight, inspire me to push my limits each and every time I am moving. Watching @ripesselstyn move all over the Sedona property on a mountain bike just reiterated to chose movement. @jane_esselstyn_rn dancing with us after every meal and taking us on incredibly beautiful hikes emphasized a gym is not your only choice of movement! The wonderful new fast Frienilies, I call my Plantily (Plant Family) also inspired me to do more, move more. Lee who at 81 years old was doing dance routines with us for the talent show. Leticia @leticiadominguesleal who is full of energy and taught us our dance routines since she is a dance instructor on her spare time of being a Law Professor. She made it so fun and easy to follow. I had never been able to follow a dance routine, even a zumba class. Rose, @theplantlifechoseus who surprised me by learning she coaches women through their menopause years so they thrive! Make it FUN! Put your body and health first, make YOURSELF a priority! Push your limitsโ€ผ๏ธ
