Introducing the PICANTE Translucent Diamond Down Puffer 800FP Over two years in development, our debut puffer marks the next chapter in our pursuit of elevated, everyday outerwear, combining luxury fabrication with technical performance. What began as a search for the perfect winter jacket became an obsession with getting every detail right. We sourced and dissected vintage puffers, visited archives, and studied the best of mountaineering outerwear and 90s Italian sportswear before developing our own from the ground up. After dozens of fabric tests, fill trials and fit refinements, we landed on a 10 denier micro translucent ripstop nylon, crisp yet soft, shifting between matte and gloss depending on the light. The translucent shell reveals the internal down structure and taping beneath, creating depth and dimension while keeping weight to a minimum. Filled with 90/10 duck down at 800 fill power and a 265 g fill weight, it offers exceptional warmth to weight performance, insulation without unnecessary bulk. Diamond baffles through the body and straight baffles along the arms define its structure, while the cropped, boxy silhouette keeps a contemporary balance. The peaked adjustable hood is engineered for improved weather coverage and visibility, protecting against the elements. Finished with 3M reflective cords, Vislon zips, blue branded bungee grips and subtle branding - a simple raised silver logo on the cuff. Inside, a custom PICANTE Puffa cereal box patch adds a touch of playfulness, continuing our tradition of hidden storytelling details.
