S/O to @_jasonwelch_ for the sick photo shoot and on becoming the first member of my pirate crew! 🙏🏼😂🏴‍☠️ Not only did he kill it with the shots, but as you can see, we had to battle the elements to pull this one off which I really appreciate because that photo shoot was my first time actually meeting the guy! 😭😂 You can tell a lot about someone by much they’re willing to help a stranger so I am grateful for all the good and helpful people God has put in my life 🙏🏼 Something I’ve been reflecting on the past few days is how much God has shown up since I’ve committed to this move and that gives me confirmation that I made the right decision and am on the right path. Honestly, things are 100% different than I expected and it seems like my plans are changing everyday, but it’s okay because time and time again, God has proven Himself faithful and has given me exactly what I need at just the right time. Take this photoshoot for example, @phalanx_usa sent me these kits and asked for an unboxing, some live roll footage, and professional shots to market everything. Everything sounded good except for the professional because I just moved and no longer had a photographer. I was starting to feel a little hopeless but no joke, one morning in the middle of my 6:00 am class, God randomly told me to ask @nakanamartins if he did photography so I asked him and he was like, “I don’t, but my roommate does, I can connect you!” Next thing you know, we hit it off, agreed to do a shoot, and the rest is history. What God has been showing me through all of this is, we don’t know what tomorrow will bring and God is so unpredictable. The best way I can put it is, I may have my moments of doubt, but if I feel like God is calling me to something, there is no obstacle on earth that can keep me from those things. I don’t care if today looks hopeless, tomorrow is a new day and another chance. We don’t know, but what if things get better tomorrow?
