These are some of the moments from the UTE 100 doc @hybridshootz made. He did an amazing job and I got some of the miles mixed up but it’s the best I could remember. Start line, and through mile 22. First aid station 24 or close to it. Finding out I was definitely not in first place. Mile 47 aid station. My favorite aid station. 56 aid station leaving with Chad and losing first place Full panic mode about being caught My support made this possible. Realizing I lost first place to an absolute legend @jon_sanilas. Asking for help is always weird even if it’s your friends. (I had not sat down yet at this point) I was never gonna catch him lol. This was a very hard section. Dani coming in to save me for 8-10 miles not sure of the exact distance. @dani_poirier is the person I ski with the most and one of the people I trust the most in the back country to keep us safe. @instaabrett paced for 25 miles or more. He’s no doubt one of the best back country partners in the world. Because he’s completely unaffected by the situation and he never changes attitude. 90-100 was ridiculously hard. Quitting at 90 would have been a really bad decision. Truly the finish didn’t mean much when I realized how much my friends did for me for this race. Running and training means nothing compared to this.
