Birding, community, and a morning spent learning from the landscape 🐦🌿 Last weekend, nearly 40 of us gathered at the Audubon Center at @audubon_debspark for a bird walk with our friends @n_o_c_s and @audubonsociety ✨ With binoculars in hand and expert guidance from Taylor Paez, Denys Hemen, and Leslie Nuñez, we hiked the scrub-jay Trail, spotted a Scrub-Jay, watched hummingbirds flit by, listened closely to bird calls, and learned more about the restoration work helping create healthier habitats across the park 🌼🦜🌱 We wrapped the morning with raffle prizes, snacks, drinks, and a little extra time together in the courtyard 🎁🥤 Thanks to everyone who showed up to learn, explore, and celebrate the birds and habitats that make places like Debs Park so special 💚.
