Two evenings in Rome, and all we wanted was for the nights to feel unmistakably Roman. We’re usually drawn to the kind of restaurants that stay true to themselves—timeless, authentic, and unchanged in the best way. Our first dinner was at Ristorante Trattoria Al Moro—a restaurant that has been around for nearly 100 years, preserving a deep love for traditional Roman cuisine. When in Rome during this time of year, you simply cannot not eat artichokes. On our last night, we went to Girarrosto Fiorentino, known for its traditional Tuscan and central Italian cooking. We enjoyed a 2020 Amarone with an amazing meal. The quality of the proscuitto in Rome made me want to eat it every day since returning to New York. @almororoma @girarrostofiorentino
