🧈 What’s better than butter? Makhan! Aka cultured butter! It’s way more flavorful and is my butter of choice when I’m craving butter and bread! Makhan is usually made with buffalo milk, but I opted for a high-quality Jersey cow heavy cream which is easier to find! It’s so simple, you just inoculate heavy cream with yogurt bacteria and then churn it! When I was younger, my mom would smother my morning bhakri (whole wheat flatbread) with Makhan and fold it in half like a butter taco with some chai, and I was in heaven!
