Hey there! 👋🏾 Figured I’d re-introduce myself for any new folks! I’m Hetal, the face behind @milkandcardamom! ✨ I’m a cookbook author, dessert lover, and all-around flavor enthusiast. If you love bold flavor combinations, sweet treats, and all things desi (with a twist!), you’re in the right place! A little about me: 🍪 I have written 2 cookbooks- Milk & Cardamom- which has my famous Gulab Jamun Bundt Cake recipe and Desi Bakes, a cookbook all about Indian-inspired desserts! 🎥 You’ll catch me sharing easy, drool-worthy recipes (and probably making a mess in the kitchen). I was also a contestant on MasterChef Season 6, where I first showcased my love for blending Western and Indian flavors! 🌿 I’m a vegetarian who’s always on the hunt for the best bites around the world. I travel often with my family, and I love taking you guys along with me! 👩🏾‍🔬Before becoming a full-time food creator, I worked in healthcare as a revenue cycle consultant, and prior to that, I worked as an analytical chemist (I have a degree in Biochemistry!).
