The parenting hack your 3- or 4-year-old actually wants: give them a job. 🧺 At this age, helping with simple household chores isn’t just about getting things done. Folding laundry, putting toys away, making dinner, or helping with dishes gives preschoolers meaningful opportunities to practice independence, follow routines, and see themselves as a contributing part of the family. Will they do it perfectly? Probably not. Will it sometimes take longer than doing it yourself? Definitely 😅 But the goal isn’t a perfectly folded towel.
