did you know that before i started @lovewellness i went to the french culinary institute here in new york city? after I graduated from ucla, I moved to NYC and loved (and still love) to cook. My reality TV roots had me thinking I may continue with a career in TV, and I gave it my all to get a food TV show off the ground. Remember all those youtube videos and TheLoDown blog????? Anyway, life doesn’t always go as planned. I had a project in the works at food/cooking and they eventually made a decision to not move forward with me (that’s how it goes in showbiz, folks) and I had to quite literally ... figure out what to do next. At that time I was also starting to feel deeply unwell in my body, was going through an earth shattering break-up, and generally was feeling not so good about myself. It’s funny how really challenging moments actually are the ones that flip your life upside down for the better. I dug myself out of that fugly hole by figuring out my health issues and worked to resolve them, and then took what I learned to launch my business. Now, my company @lovewellness is turning 10, I just turned 40, and I’ve been a Mom for almost a year ... all in the good year of 2026 :) You can get LW at your local Target, Walmart, CVS, and Ulta Beauty 🫶🏼
