Replacing a grease fitting? Make sure you’re using the right tools for the job. Not all grease fittings are threaded - there are also drive type fittings. Drive In Zerks are for when it’s impractical or inefficient to use a threaded fitting. These have a serrated shank that is installed with a hammer and a drive tool that fits over the Zerk to hold it in place.
