It’s World Fair Trade Day. When Gosia founded Kowtow in 2006, she knew she wanted to make clothing from organic cotton that was Fairtrade certified. After learning about the Fairtrade International she was certain this was the path Kowtow should take to entirely understand the organic cotton supply chain and look after the growers who are traditionally the least looked after and taken advantage of in any commodity. Since then, Kowtow has been Fairtrade certified, working with Fairtrade certified partners throughout our supply chain. These partners range from the organic cotton farmers, to the mills that process the cotton, to the manufacturers that bring the garments to life. Thanks to being Fairtrade certified, we can trace every part of our process. We have retained close partnerships with these partners in India and visit them regularly. Being Fairtrade certified is something we celebrate now and into the future. Thank you @‌fairtradeanz for your ongoing partnership and the important work you do.
