Almost 6 years ago I shared this very picture of my newborn baby girl dressed in our soft lemons. I had just given birth to this perfect tiny little human. My little Ingrid. When naming her I was never in doubt that her name should be Ingrid after my dear grandmother. My grandmother’s last name was Konge, and translated to English Konge means King. This is where the name Konges Sløjd originates. My grandmother Ingrid Konge was very very dear to me and hold a special place in my heart. And now my baby is almost six and will start school this Summer, my little Ingrid. She was a newborn just a minute ago, sleeping on my chest all dressed in lemons. Where did time go?
