To our community— It has been the joy of a lifetime to build Kinfield with you. I wish I had better news to share with you now. The last two years have been exceptionally challenging for small brands like ours. I’ve spent countless days (and far too many nights) exploring every possible path forward. Unfortunately, it wasn’t enough. From the beginning, Kinfield has stood for inclusivity—being the outdoor brand for those who didn’t see themselves in the traditional “outdoorsy” sense. We believe that you belong in the outdoors—whether it's your first hike or your 50th. We also believe that products can be functional and fun. Clean, effective, vegan, proven, and beautiful. Together, we showed that outdoor essentials can be joyful. If it wasn't for our community, our products would be my pride and joy. But oh: our community. Hikers, creators, outdoors-ish recreationalists, park parents, Brooklyn girlies, Nashville mamas, and everyone in between. You made us what we are. Your enthusiasm meant everything. I adore you. Thank you. On the hardest days, I told myself, “all we’re doing is selling bug spray on the internet.” But it has always meant so much more. If you have been a customer, a supporter, a creator, an event attendee, or simply a "yay"-er from afar: thank you for giving light to my days for the last eight years. I will miss you deeply.
