✨ In loving memory of Connie Denave ✨ Once considered the first female PR powerhouse in rock and roll, representing the likes of The Rolling Stones and Dusty Springfield, Connie Denave was certainly a force to be reckoned with. Her long list of reputable clientele (including Andy Warhol, Nat King Cole, Burt Reynolds, and Clint Eastwood) was impressive, but to these names she was more than just an “image maker” and “brand builder” — she also became their trusted confidante. She wrote of her becomings in her memoir, “The Image Maker: Shattering Rock and Roll’s Glass Ceiling” published in October 2023. In addition to her impressive career in PR, Connie was also the beloved owner of @jeweldivanyc, which has been in business for over 46 years, and provided customers with the most beautiful collection of vintage jewelry. We loved working with Connie, and our shared love of magnificent costume jewelry led to the most wonderful partnership with #KennethJayLane for decades.
