One fun movie from the early ‘90s is Career Opportunities (1991), written by the great John Hughes. It’s often humorously called the “Target ad movie,” since the entire film takes place inside a Target store. Pairing it with those nostalgic ’80s throwback retrowave videos on YouTube makes it even prettier and more sentimental. I was torn between mentioning this or Mannequin, another enjoyable one.
