Through the noise, energy and excitement surrounding the Auction for Peace in Colombia, our coffee team secured the winning bids on three top-rated lots that are now ready to be enjoyed. The final release from our visit last fall is Astrid Ipia Peña Pink Bourbon, a washed coffee flush with tropical fruit sweetness and bright, aromatic stone fruit. Astrid’s pink bourbon cherries and their meticulous processing scored fifth out of more than 500 lots submitted to the auction. Through this auction, we discovered standouts that embody everything our Special Selection coffees are about.
