Looking to refine your pour over at home? Our coffee team shares a few pointers with our latest release, Bolivia Takesi Geisha. Adjusting ratios, grind size and pour rate are just a few ways to modify a coffee’s tasting notes to your liking. See the guidance below for your next brew: •20g coffee to 340g water (1:17 ratio). •205°F water temp. 1: Start timer, begin 60g bloom. 2: At 25 seconds, pour to 100g. 3: At 1 minute, pour to 260g. 4: Once grounds become visible, pour to 340g. •If it tastes thin, muted or sour: first grind finer, then consider updosing. •If it tastes bitter or astringent: first grind coarser or pour more gently.
