Update from Pangnirtung📍 15 days. Skis, packrafts, and pulks. Iqaluit to Pang — across the Hall Peninsula, down frozen rivers, and through some of the most stunning sea ice paddling either of them has ever experienced. The highlights so far? Weaving through ice fields beneath blue skies while guillemots and fulmars kept them company. Skiing a mostly nocturnal schedule under endless arctic daylight — breakfast at 11pm, still novel every time. Caribou, foxes, and one very curious weasel. And arriving at the mouth of Pangnirtung Fjord to be greeted by local hunters returning from a 4-day narwhal hunt, who shared fresh muktuk and stories before disappearing across the ice on snowmachines.
