Devastating news, as many of you have been following. Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments were cut by more than 90% yesterday, deeper than the 2017 reductions that were, at the time, the largest reversal of monument protections in U.S. history. Back then, Ibex withdrew from Outdoor Retailer in protest. Conservation is a core value here, which is why we supported the 2021 restoration of these monuments and the protection of sacred ancestral lands of Tribal Nations, including the Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe, Ute Indian Tribe, Ute Mountain Ute Tribe, and Pueblo of Zuni.
