In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re proud to recognize some of the incredible women who have paved the way for greater opportunities and transformed the sports world for the better: 1. Mia Hamm: A trailblazer in women’s soccer, Mia Hamm helped establish the first professional women’s soccer league in the U.S. At just 15 years old, she became the youngest player ever to join the U.S. National Team. 2. Diana Taurasi: The all-time leading scorer in WNBA history, Diana Taurasi revolutionized women’s basketball with her skill and leadership. She earned the nickname “White Mamba” from Kobe Bryant for her clutch performances. 3. Florence Griffith Joyner (FloJo): Known as the fastest woman of all time, FloJo still holds the world records for the 100m and 200m sprints. She also designed her iconic track outfits, including the famous one-legged suit. 4. Jackie Joyner-Kersee: Widely regarded as one of the greatest female athletes, she was the first woman to score over 7,000 points in the heptathlon. She achieved this remarkable feat despite battling severe asthma throughout her career. 5. Lindsey Vonn: As one of the most decorated skiers in history, Lindsey Vonn demonstrated that fearless ambition leads to remarkable achievements on and off the slopes. She won four World Cup overall championships, the most ever for a female skier. 6. Manon Rhéaume: The first woman to play in the NHL, Manon Rhéaume showed that talent and perseverance create opportunities in sports. She started as a goaltender at age five when her brother’s team needed a goalie. #WomensHistoryMonth
