On Holy Saturday, we placed rocks in our empty Easter baskets—each one marked with a sin we needed to surrender. Then we covered them with a red blanket, a quiet symbol of the blood Christ shed for us. And this morning, we lifted the blanket to find the stones replaced with gifts.
