Finally found one of my holy grails! The full size 1980s Manute Bol Nike poster. At 7 foot 7, Manute looked almost unreal. Endless reach. Shot blocking machine. (He led the league in blocks twice!) One of the most unforgettable presences the game has ever seen. The poster itself is even more incredible in person. Early in his career with the Washington Bullets, Manute rocked the iconic “Big Nike” model during the mid 1980s. The gigantic Nike logo on the back of the sneaker is amazing. But what always made him bigger than basketball was who he was off the court. He gave enormous amounts of his NBA earnings back to help people in Sudan.
