Thanks to everyone who passed by today to see us at our Portobello Market Pop Up Stall to celebrate 14 years of @hayleymenziesofficial which started at this very place. Before my brand became what it is today, it all started as a little stall selling scarves and shawls. I set up every Saturday for over a year, meeting so many of my OG customers along the way. It’s where I learned how to trade, set up a website, and really connect with people. Even 14 years on, I still find Portobello such a source of inspiration — there’s always something I want to buy, whether it’s an incredible piece of vintage clothing or a beautiful piece of jewellery that sparks an idea for a future collection. The market is full of quirky characters, antique treasures, and the kind of energy that never gets old. Over the years, I’ve met so many wonderful people here — a real mix of personalities who’ve become dear friends. Portobello is in our blood and spirit, and I think we’ve stayed very true to those roots in everything we do. I just want to say a huge thank you — I’m so grateful to have grown and evolved the business over the years, and yet still have so many of our original customers with us, alongside lots of new ones. Here’s to the next chapter.
