There are lots of opinions on this, but I pretty much NEVER repot a plant immediately after bringing it home! I mean, I feel like we need to get to know each other a little better first before I start messing with its undercarriage. Do I check it out? Of course, if there is anything alarming I will deal with it. But just a plant that looks good? It’s fine!! If it does need to be repotted, I try to give it at least a few weeks to acclimate to my home’s environment before I disturb its root system. Right now you can get my Top 40 Guide with answers to 40 of my most asked plant care questions for free (my treat)! Just comment TOP 40 and I’ll send it your way!
