Recipe ⤵️ This roasted honey nut squash is a low effort thanksgiving side that will wow everyone 🦃🍁 Ingredients: - 3-4 honey nut sqush - 16 oz labne - 4-5 thyme sprigs - 1 large yellow onion - dash of all spice - chili oil - 1/2 tsp garlic powder - honey - 1/2 tsp pepper - 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar - neutral oil - pistachios (chopped) Directions: 1. Thinly slice your onions and add them to a well oiled pan over medium heat. Cook for 3-4 mins while stirring often. 2. Reduce heat to medium low. Let them cook until caramelized (40 ish mins). Add more oil if they start drying out. Make sure to stir often! 3. Cut the top stem off your washed squash. Cut them in quarters & scoop out the seeds with a spoon. Place into a large bowl. 4. Season them with a good drizzle of oil, 1 1/2 tsp salt, pepper, balsamic vinegar, heavy drizzle of honey, and garlic powder. Mix well, you want the seasonings everywhere. 5. Add them to a parchment lined baking dish, place them skin side up, and bake at 400F for 50 mins to an hour. Until they’re fork tender. 6. Keep checking on your onions, once they’re almost done hit them with a pinch of salt. 7. Once your squash has some nice color, and is fork tender it’s all done! 8. Spread your labne over desired plate, sprinkle with salt & pepper. Add a drizzle of honey. Top with you squash, and caramelized onions. 9.
