So honored to donate a @guardianbikes bike to @tijuanita_mi_ciudad, @fraire_tamara, @ivonne_ache and the whole team. In partnership with Nad Morales @novoblocobatucada, they help distribute bikes to underprivileged communities in Tijuana - Mexico. Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, and supporters for putting smiles on these kids’ faces. This was possible because of all of you! 📷 @fraire_tamara The event took place on April 26th as part of the first Children’s Day celebration organized by Nad Morales. She reached out to let me know she is managing a community center in an area with significant needs. Nad is another collaborator of “Tijuanita” through her group called  Novo Bloco BATUCADA @novo.bloco_ . She lives in an underprivileged community in Tijuana and organized the children’s day mini festival with games and snacks for the local children with the help of her neighbors. The community is called  Centro Integral del Bienestar Amparo Sánchez. It was a small, informal event, but filled with love. It was absolutely worth the drive to see the children’s faces so excited to receive their bikes. I am not sure yet if she plans to make this an annual Children’s Day tradition. I’ve included the address and Instagram page for Novo Bloco below. Their performance was a huge success at the last edition of “Tijuanita” here in my city.
