@ebinumbrothers on set.  Victory and Marvel Ebinum are the powerful creative duo behind “Unearthly,” a new short film. While the Nigerian brothers are known for their mesmerizing movement, this marks the first film which they scored, choreographed and directed. “It’s the first time we’ve been able to express all three of our art forms in one,” they told us, as they took us behind-the-scenes for this making of. The 13-minute film is structured as one continuous story, told in three sections that flow into each other — much like the brothers’ own flowing movement throughout the story. The first portrays the normalcy of the world, the second centers around the feeling of being seen, and the third explores how self-expression shapes the world around us. All told through the lens of the brothers and their personal story and experience.  The end result is stirring and ethereal — fitting of its “Unearthly” title — and one we’re proud to have partnered with the brothers on, helping their vision come to life.
