Thankful for the women in my life who celebrate with me and celebrate me. I’ve recently realized that, for a long time, I felt like I needed to dim my light. Like if I shined too brightly, people would be upset with me. Like other women wouldn’t cheer for me or celebrate my success. These women have shown me how wrong I was. There are women who genuinely want to see you win. Women who clap when good things happen to you. Women who speak your name in rooms you’re not in. Women who celebrate your ideas, your growth, your business, your family, and your dreams without making it about themselves. And I’ve realized something… The more secure a woman is in who she is, the easier it is for her to celebrate another woman. That’s the kind of woman I want to be. The kind who isn’t threatened by someone else’s light because I know there’s enough room for all of us to shine. If you’re one of those women in my life… thank you.
