The Kodiak bolts directly into your rack, while the Mammoth is more of a standalone attachment. The other big difference is the Mammoth is a lever style belt squat. With levers, there is going to be some degree of arc depending on the length of the unit, which can product some forward pull. On the Mammoth, this is VERY minimal since it’s longer than other similar units. With the Kodiak’s cable system, you’re able to stand directly over the pulleys and get a squat pattern with no arc.
