I’m not ashamed to admit that for a little while we lost our way, we worked with some BIG names and got caught up in the hype of it all, was it a bucket list moment ? Yes ,was we flattered to be taken on by one of the UK’s biggest supermarkets? OMG yes, but it all got too big. Suddenly Dan and I were making 3 times the amount of clothes we wanted too and we were no longer a “small business” in fact If I’m honest I felt a hypocrite asking you to shop small when you could buy our clothes in a major British supermarket. It didn’t make sense. We started making some changes to our business last year, moving back to our original model of business working for ourselves and not someone else. Making less, manufacturing more considerately and more importantly slowing down. I have no regrets, the amount I’ve learnt in the last 11 years I could fill a book. We are making some more gradual changes here at Fred & Noah (all exciting) One of those changes will mean less leggings moving forward as we develop new fitting kids trousers and also new and exciting products. BUT In order to make room for the newness we need to clear some older lines ( which won’t be returning) so we’ve discounted 100’s of styles to clear in our CLEARANCE.
