It’s re-cert season!!! Spring is in full swing and it’s the perfect time to brush up on life-saving skills that we can take to our daily lives so that we can be as prepared as possible if we get into a situation where we need them. This season I signed up to renew my CPR/AED as well as my WFR through @jhoutdoorleadership ! If you’re in need of renewing your medical certs or want to get one for the first time, make sure to check out their website for all their upcoming courses! It was great to practice compressions and rescue breaths as well as get a refresh on choking rescue. Every few years, there will be a new update on how best to perform these techniques so it’s nice to be up to date on the latest recommendations. We got to practice quite a few rounds of CPR with and without the use of an AED. Though I hope to never encounter someone in cardiac arrest, I know I am well trained and knowledgeable to use these life-saving skills that would allow me to potentially save a life ❤️ @flylowgear
