This week we tied armfuls of Rosemary from the Orchard—bundle upon bundle, cinched with twine. After the rain came the heat, and the hillside has pushed out so much tender new growth it feels carpeted in silver‑green needles. Crush a sprig between your fingers and the oils flare into the air: piney, resinous, eucalyptus‑bright, timeless and powerful. Our Rosemary Candle is a tribute to days like this. It was the very first candle we ever made, and it’s still a classic—the closest thing to standing in the garden on a hot, sunny afternoon. I’ve never been a fan of sweet candles, and this one will always smell like sunshine and hard work to me. x Richard
