We visited Louise and Lou from the iconic @oat_bakery today in Santa Barbara. Oat Bakery has been one of our longtime bakery partners, making some of the most talked-about breads in our Farm Box deliveries over the years. We owe @ellendegeneres a thank you here — she was the person who first told Harvey and me about Oat Bakery. Since then, it has become a true staple in hundreds of boxes each week. This week, their charcoal sourdough is the backdrop for an incredible Farm Box curated by Diego Moya of @littlemountainsb Montecito’s most-loved restaurant. Diego has included first-pick watermelons, Sun Gold tomatoes, Monterey strawberries, eggplants, asparagus, purple bell peppers for the grill, fresh herbs, and eggs from Munak Ranch. PLEASE NOTE: In observance of Juneteenth, all Farm Box deliveries will be completed on Thursday. The entire Flamingo team — office, warehouse, Fresh Food team, and kitchen staff — will be closed on Friday, June 19, in honor of the holiday. x Richard
