Rob’s been making logs for Macy for quite a few years now, drawing inspiration from his personal quiver of surfboards, short to long, from Donald Takayama’s “Model T” to Skype Frye’s gliders, and an old photo of  Macy’s grandfather with a classic Australian log. This traditional style log has single concave under the nose, a rolled belly through the middle feeding into vee through the back section, and a flipped tail rocker for nose riding.
