For some, it brings up grief, loss, or complicated relationships, and if that’s you, I see you 🤍 But today, I want to celebrate the women who show up in unexpected ways. The ones who step into motherly roles without obligation, just love. This is Jackie. Technically, she was my stepmum. But when my Dad left, she didn’t. I was 14, and she chose to stay in my life. Not because she had to, but because she wanted to. I’m 32 now, and she’s still one of the most important women in my world. This is for the stepmums, the bonus mums, and the women who mother without a title. The ones who remind us that family is chosen, and love is louder than anything else.
