We’ve got a little roller on our hands! This week, we’ll be diving into the transition from a swaddle to a sleeping bag, something we like to call “Ready to Roll.” At around 3- 6 months of age, you’ll begin to notice signs of rolling and noticeably at sleep time they’ll become fussy about their swaddle and try to break free. This is your sign to move into a sleeping bag. Fortunately, the Cocoon Swaddle conveniently converts into a sleeping bag, so when the time comes for the transition, simply pop the arms free, and you’ll have a sleep sack ready to go. By around 4 to 6 months, babies typically outgrow their startle reflex, which means they no longer need their arms contained in a swaddle to prevent sleep disruptions. So if the visible signs of rolling haven’t occurred, look for signs that bub is no longer startling. That’s your cue to make the move You can read more in our “When to stop swaddling and how to transition baby to arms-out sleeping” blog via the link in bio
