The Pacific Coast League (PCL) featured clubs from up and down the west coast. But the teams sported monikers straight out of central casting: Hollywood Stars, Sacramento Solons, San Francisco Seals, Portland Beavers, and Vancouver Mounties, just to name a few. But the crown jewel of the PCL was the LA Angels. Formed in 1903 as charter members of the PCL, the club was bought by chewing gum magnate William Wrigley Jr. in 1921. Not long after, he built the first Wrigley Field at 42nd and Avalon. The original Angels weren’t connected to the later American League expansion team, but they were a powerhouse in the PCL. The 1903, 1934, and 1943 Angels of the PCL were ranked among the 100 greatest minor league teams of all time. The 1934 team, with a 137–50 record, was ranked as the number one minor league team.   We’re proud to celebrate the teams, players, and lasting legacy of the Pacific Coast League and the original LA Angels with our newest collection. Take a look at our lineup card, and find your new favorite way to dress like a legend.
