Ambassador Highlight: Owen Gayler Owen is a cowboy turned saltwater fly fishing guide based in Port O’Connor, Texas. Raised in Nacogdoches, he began his professional career working as a cowboy before a downturn in the cattle market led him to the Texas coast. Owen slowly worked his way into guiding after earning the respect of the local guides and fishing community that came before him.
