We built a car that is invisible to AI surveillance cameras like Flock. The sweet wrap on our Toyota Yaris was designed by cybersecurity expert Bill Swearingen. It uses an anti-AI attack called Adversarial Noise. The “noise” is visual: it uses color, lines, and other patterns to convince the camera’s algorithm that it actually isn’t looking at a car at all. And if the camera doesn’t think it sees a car, it doesn’t record any information to its surveillance database. We tested our car against an actual Flock camera. To see how we did it, check out our video on YouTube.
